又是一年一次大家期待的农历新年！

祝大家过个快乐年哦！

As time passes, the atmosphere of chinese new year is not as excited as before anymore. When we were still little kids, this time of the year is our favourite festive season cause we can have lotsa ang baos and all those gathering session. Maybe when you start to grow up, you know all these preparations need alot of effort and money. Therefore you hated the process of the harvest. and perhaps no longer enjoy the reaps of harvest. haha. I really cant imagine myself getting married with kids and giving out ang baos. It would prolly be the worst time of the year where pocket is full of holes. I think i would go oversea to pi nian next time. HAHAHA!

Anyway, i have been spending few hundreds over these 2 days. Shopping Mood. Bought several clothings and bought baby a shirt and blazer from g2000. He looked so charming in it. =) Memerised by him, like always and forever. =Pp And he bought me a heels. Thank you bi bi. I really love that heels!! Will upload photos after new year.

A day with nephew and niece(:

My sister was telling me that Faith so love to play with me. My other sisters and brother came visit her she also never keep playing with them. hehs.

But hor, play with her very tiring one. Must let her comb your hair in a very special way. Then u would have hard time un-dangle your hair. LOL and then she will laugh at you like you very dumb. HAHA. Ain’t she adorable?

She was trying out the New Year dress that my er jie bought for her. She looks so nice in dresses nowadays. And the funniest part is she refuses to take her shoes out. I think she like this pair of shoes alot and we gotta resort to lying to get her shoes off. Don’t know what so special about that pair of ribbon shoes sia.

Baby john. He’s really very different from Faith. He made weird sounds when being left alone in the room. And he enjoyed us carrying him.

Went out with Wan yee for some shopping that day but didnt get anything. Saw some clothes that i like but a little expensive so did not get it. I wana buy something cheap yet nice de. alright, shopping with corrine tml. Hopefully i can get something that i like.

Last but not least i miss my baby KILO LIMA. =)

My future..

So right now, I’m at work trying to figure how to get the stupid SOP done.

For those who doesn’t know, Corrine and me are supposed to take turns to do the SOP that are gonna expired each month. It’s kind of easy just update and check, photocopy, distribute, email outlook and also to generate TAF. But what fucking ignoring is when those people that are supposed to do the periodic review for their respective SOP didn’t get it done when i clearly state in the reminder that i send out with a freaking DATELINE! AND HE can still happily ask me to send him a reminder again.

OMG! I’m gonna be so dead meat this time. Sian. Can’t they be more considerate and spare some thoughts for little girl like me? In the first place, i wouldnt have to do all these but because one of my specialist left and so all these jobs are handed over to us. Hai.

And now, beside doing testing, i have got to do SOP, Calibration, standardization for titrants, Electronic pipette check monthly. Very tiring can. Some one pleas pity me.

Lesson of life #1

The Turtles

A turtle family decided to go on a picnic. The turtles, being naturally slow about things, took seven years to prepare for their outing. Finally the turtle family left home looking for a suitable place. During the second year of their journey they found a place ideal for them at last!
For about six months they cleaned the area, unpacked the picnic basket, and completed the arrangements. Then they discovered they had forgotten the salt. A picnic without salt would be a disaster, they all agreed.  After a lengthy discussion, the youngest turtle was chosen to retrieve the salt from home. Although he was the fastest of the slow moving turtles, the little turtle whined, cried, and wobbled in his shell. He agreed to go on one condition: that no one would eat until he returned. The family consented and the little turtle left.

Three years passed and the little turtle had not returned. Five years…six years… then on the seventh year of his absence, the oldest turtle could no longer contain his hunger. He announced that he was going to eat and begun to unwrap a sandwich.

At that point the little turtle suddenly popped out from behind a tree shouting, ‘See! I knew you wouldn’t wait. Now I am not going to go get the salt.’

[Some of us waste our time waiting for people to live up to our expectations. We are so concerned about what others are doing that we don't do anything ourselves.]

TGIF

Yesterday me,my boy together with my sister and his sister went for test drive. The saleswoman was really very nice and detailed. She did a breakdown and calculation on the cost. Actually, boy and me could afford getting a weekend car but as i mentioned on earlier post. There are too many constraints. Maybe this shouldn’t be our priority. I just got the urge to drive these few days. =( Haven’t been driving for months after getting that licence, so wasted la. If only my sisters they don’t have sucha luxury car then perhaps i can borrow and drive around. You tell me la, one is Audi another volkswage how to let me drive. Even if they let i think i got no guts to drive it la! Sian.

Enough of that. Caught red cliffs 2 yesterday with boy’s family at downtown cathay. This show changed my view over China’s history. It seemed less boring now and i got the feeling to get the book on San Guo Yan Yi. LOL. But not before i get that 4 books (Twilight, new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn) =) Anyone has any of that book? Can lend me?

I felt that i’ve changed. From someone who do whatever she likes and cares no about others thinking to someone who takes opinion gravely. This is bad!! I wan my old self back. At least, more confident.

I feel fat, ugly and lousy.

Love and Marriage

One day, Plato asked his teacher, “What is love? How can I find it?”

His teacher answered, “There is a vast wheat field in front. Walk forward without turning back, and pick only one stalk. If you find the most magnificent stalk, then you have found love.”

Plato walked forward, and before long, he returned with empty hands, having picked nothing.

His teacher asked, “Why did you not pick any stalk?”

Plato answered, “Because I could only pick once, and yet I could not turn back. I did find the most magnificent stalk, but did not know if there were any better ones ahead, so I did not pick it. As I walked further, the stalks that I saw were not as good as the earlier one, so I did not pick in the end.”

His teacher then said, “And that is love.”

On another day, Plato asked his teacher, “What is marriage? How can I find it?”

His teacher answered, ” There is a thriving forest in front. Walk forward without turning back, and chop down only one tree. If you find the tallest tree, then you have found marriage.”

Plato walked forward, and before long, he returned with a tree. This tree was not thriving, and it was not tall either. It was only an ordinary tree.

His teacher asked, “Why did you chop down such an ordinary tree?”

Plato answered, “Because of my previous experience. I had walked through the field, but returned with empty hands. This time, I saw this tree, and I felt that it was not bad, so I chopped it down and brought it back. I did not want to miss the opportunity.”

His teacher then said, “And that is marriage, you see, love is the most beautiful thing that can happen to a person, but it’s an opportunity but you don’t realize its worth when you have it but only when it’s gone like the field of stalks. Marriage is like the tree you had chopped, it’s a compromise.

I hope you’re the one. I hope we could compromise and substained our love forever. I love you baby. <3

randoms

My brother almost lost my lap top in cinema. Luckily, it was being found and no one is greed enough to keep it for himself/herself. If not i would surely kp him till the lap top reappear in my face. Thank god that it is still retrieveable.

These 2 days have been helping my boy with his room’s spring cleaning. I wanted to post photos of his ‘before and after’ room but he doesn’t allow me too. So bo bian, you guys cannot see the beautifying of his room. Or maybe can wait till the room finished its ‘renovation’ then i could ask for his permission to post them up. =) And both of us have been visiting Ikea for a few times. I think we can join the friends of ikea and get free coffee everyday liao. haha.

DK girls outing in sentosa last sat was relaxing and fun. Gossiping and playing the different kinds of sports. Photos will be uploaded soon.

OH, did i mention that my boy wanted to buy a weekend car together with me? But after much thoughts we decided not to buy. Boy said we should save up the money for better usage next time. Let’s buy a big big house. Or go for backpacking in europe. =Pp I cant wait.

Most of the time people don’t plan to fail but they fail to plan. That’s why me and boy need more plannings for our future. I need to enroll in SIM soon.

Will be back again. Anyway, not much people view this space. So blogging here seems a little boring cause no one entertains me. haha.  But i still love using wordpress to blogspot. I’m contemplating whether to post my wordpress address on the blogspot. Should i or should i not?

2 thousand and 9

It’s a brand new year and here i am working. Today supposingly not my working day but i swopped with Jeremy as i have got double header on Sunday. So in exchange, i gotta give up my New Year day. Tsk Tsk.

I have been working non-stop since i stepped into lab and now i’m 3/4 done. Still need to empty the contaminated solid waste and check the utility and i will be done. Then i will just rot around till 8pm. 3 days off from tommorrow, like FINALLY. I have work consectively for 4 days liao. So tiring. Anyway, many of my friends including my boy thinks that my work is easy. I agree to a certain extend but when come to testing the samples i would be standing throughout and walking around. That’s the side that you all didn’t see. Overall, it’s still a easy routine job day in day out.

For the past few weeks, i have been catching movie with my boy. Twilight, transporter 3. My boy almost fallen asleep while watching Twilight. Maybe romance show is too boring for him. Haha! There are still many nice movie that i haven watch. Bedtime stories, Yes man and LP man.

Out of sudden i feel so slpy. Will be back again later.
